Considering the necessity of scientometric research in learning English, the purpose of this research is to review and analyze articles related to this field. The research method is descriptive-applied, and the research area includes all the articles on learning English that were indexed in the Science Direct citation database from 1998 to 2022, and after filtering them, 3,489 of them were analyzed with the help of Excel and VOS Viewer software, It was analyzed for analysis and display of data. The findings of the research indicate that The trend of the number of articles has been upward until 2015, but after that year, it has taken a downward trend, Although, in recent years, it is increasing gradually. Also, Journals Procedia - Social and Behavioral Sciences (762), and Research articles (3,404) were ranked first. 14 clusters were identified that the topics of Translanguaging, syntactic complexity, dual language learners, social media, collaborative writing, early childhood education, head start, self-regulation, E-learning English, working memory and, Peer feedback have Innovation and also Motivation, Bilingualism, Efl, Teacher Education, Higher Education and, second language acquisition are the hottest categories of this field. |
