Abstract
The study investigates the influence of visual aids and multimedia elements on the motivation
of 8th-grade students who are learning English as a Foreign Language (EFL) at Tadbir Junior
High School. The research seeks to close the gap between theoretical discussion and actual
implementation in the field of English as a Foreign Language (EFL) teaching. The study
employs questionnaires, teacher interviews, and observational analysis as means of data
collection. The results demonstrate that the use of visual aids has a beneficial impact on
student engagement, motivation, and comprehension. Nevertheless, obstacles such as the
educational culture and limits in infrastructure are recognized. The study highlights the
practical application of these discoveries in the field of English as a Foreign Language (EFL)
teaching, promoting the active use of visual media to establish dynamic and stimulating
language learning settings. Suggested strategies encompass the utilization of multimedia by
teachers, the implementation of policy measures to tackle classroom difficulties, and
additional investigation in various educational settings. The study offers useful insights into
the interconnection between visual aids, motivation, and language acquisition, providing
practical consequences for educators, legislators, and researchers in the field of language
instruction.
